Taking the first step to find care for yourself often requires a lot of courage and I’m so happy you’re here.

My Approach

First I’m a human, then a therapist. I value the relationships I build with each of my clients and I enjoy laughing together in a session when it’s appropriate.

As a therapist, I gently invite clients to get to know the patterns in their life no longer serving them. I highly respect the autonomy and wisdom each client holds and value each client’s core Self as a co-therapist, in and out of our sessions. We can often understand things we experience and feel like nothing is changing. My goal is not only for clients to develop a better understanding of their experiences, but also to embody that wisdom and work toward healing. If you’ve ever been told you’re “too self aware” for therapy, I’ve heard that before and there is meaningful work that can be done while we allow the amazing intellectualizing parts of us soften back. On the other hand, you don’t need to know where to start to make meaningful change, we can explore together.

The primary lens I bring to my work is informed by Internal Family Systems and Somatic Experiencing. My work is grounded Anti Oppressive Practice and Critical Disability theory.
